4-year-old boy on bike dies after being run over in Auburn, police say
A 4-year-old boy died Monday after being run over while riding his bike, Auburn police said.
The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the 1200 block of 30th Street East.
The driver who struck the boy remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
Details about how the vehicle hit the boy were not immediately released.
The boy, who has not been identified, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.
Police said the driver and boy lived in the same apartment complex.
