Lakewood shooting victim has died
A 17-year-old boy who was shot Sept. 28 outside a Lakewood townhouse has died, police said Monday.
Lakewood police said the teen was shot outside the Gravelly Lake Townhomes in the 13000 block of Pacific Highway SW.
The victim was critically injured in the shooting and died Oct. 2 at a Tacoma hospital, police said.
Lakewood police spokesman Lt. Chris Lawler said detectives are actively working the case but could not comment on developments.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office had not released the victim’s name or autopsy results on Monday.
