Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Keith Hatton

Age: 53.

Description: 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: Registered as transient, Pierce County.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1986 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Michigan. The victim was 14 years old. Convicted in 1997 of first-degree assault in Pierce County for sexually assaulting an unknown 33-year-old woman at knife point.

Sex offender treatment: Hatton did not participate in a sex offender treatment program while incarcerated.

Gregory Jaeger

Age: 32.

Description: 5-foot-7 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: Secure Community Transition Facility on McNeil Island, Pierce County.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2006 of first-degree attempted child molestation and first-degree child molestation in King County for trying to sexually assault a 9-year-old boy and sexually assaulting a six-year-old boy. Found to be a sexually violent predator in 2014 and was civilly committed to the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island.

Sex offender treatment: Jaeger participated in a sex offender treatment program while in confinement.

David Lewis

Age: 49.

Description: 5-foot-11 and 365 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 24700 block of 78th Avenue East, Graham.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1992 of two counts of first-degree child molestation in Columbia County for raping a 5-year-old girl. Convicted in 2007 of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct while at the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island. A staff member saw him watching child pornography on a VHS tape.

Sex offender treatment: Lewis has participated in sex offender treatment programs.
