Two men shot outside Federal Way gas station

Two men were critically injured in a shooting Tuesday night at a Federal Way gas station.

Officers from Federal Way Police Department were called about 10:15 p.m. to a gas station located at 1600 SW 312th St. for a report of a shooting, Commander Tracy Grossnickle said.

Two men in their early 20s were transported to the hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Grossnickle said they identified individuals involved in the shooting and arrested two people. Police did not release information about the suspects.

Police said their initial investigation indicates there was a confrontation between two groups and gunfire was exchanged. It’s not clear what the confrontation was about.
