Shot fired during armed robbery at Tacoma pot shop Thursday, police say

A cannabis shop in Tacoma was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon, police said. A gunshot was fired during the incident, and two men stole cash.

Officers from Tacoma Police Department responded to a pot shop in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue at around 3:15 p.m. Two men armed with guns entered the store and told everyone inside to get down, police said. One of the men fired a gunshot into the ceiling.

No one was reported injured.

The robbers stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle. No products were taken from the store.

Police did not locate either of the suspects. They are continuing to investigate.
