Names of men killed in South Prairie love triangle released

The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday released the identities of two men killed in a homicide-suicide at a South Prairie RV park.

They were Romeo Machuca, 41, and Alejandro Vazquez-Quezada, 39. Both men were Buckley residents.

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies said Vazquez-Quezada fatally shot Machuca and then himself on Tuesday. Machuca had been having an affair with Vazquez-Quezada’s wife, deputies said.

No one else was hurt.
