Man fatally shot outside Tacoma business has been identified
A man fatally shot last week outside a business on Tacoma’s Eastside has been identified.
Michael Jones, 48 of Spanaway, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police say he was killed just after midnight March 14 in the 4300 block of East Portland Avenue.
Nobody has been arrested, and detectives have released no details about the homicide, including a possible motive.
There have been 14 homicides in Tacoma so far this year.
