Woman killed in Tacoma wreck identified as 59-year-old from Edgewood

A woman killed in a Tacoma wreck Friday was Debra Adams of Edgewood, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Sunday.

The 59-year-old crashed the car she was driving head-on with a pickup about 7 a.m. at South 19th and M streets.

She was driving east when she crossed the center line of 19th and hit the westbound truck, police detective Dan Davis said.

It’s not yet clear what caused the wreck.

The pickup driver did not suffer serious injuries.
