Man found fatally stabbed along Interurban in Auburn identified

A man found fatally stabbed along the Interurban Trail in Auburn has been identified.

Michael Bippes, 50, died from multiple stab wounds, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

His death was a homicide, investigators determined.

Auburn police found Bippes about 5 a.m. Wednesday during a routine walking patrol on the trail, The Seattle Times reported.
