A man was fatally shot in Tacoma early Tuesday morning. Suspect arrested for homicide

A man was shot to death in Tacoma early Tuesday morning, the Tacoma Police Department reported.

South Sound 911 received a call just after midnight about a possible shooting in the 1400 block of Earnest S. Brazill Street and South Cushman Avenue.

Tacoma police found a man with a gunshot wound and began life-saving measures, TPD reported.

The Tacoma Fire Department arrived and pronounced the victim deceased, according to a news release.

Police were made aware of a possible suspect in the area. That man was located and arrested after officers established probable cause.

The man was located and arrested for investigation of homicide, police reported.

The suspect was booked into the Pierce County Jail.
