Man taken to the hospital after he was stabbed in Tacoma on Thursday
A man was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after he was stabbed near Puyallup and Portland avenues, police said. No suspects are known at this time.
Tacoma police responded around 1 p.m. and found the victim bleeding in the 1400 block of Puyallup Avenue, police said.
Police immediately took the victim to a local hospital.
“He’s stable and it’s non-fatal,” said Tacoma Police Department spokesperson Shelbie Boyd.
Police are currently on the scene interviewing potential witnesses, Boyd said. The initial investigation caused a road closure of the the 1300-1400 block of East 25th for around 40 minutes. The road is now open.
“No suspect in custody,” Boyd said. “That is what we know.”
