A woman found fatally stabbed earlier this month on the Key Peninsula has been identified as 69-year-old Lynn Cooper.

A Pierce County sheriff’s deputy found her body July 6 in her house in the 14100 block of 144th Street KPN, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
The deputy had found a Ford Explorer parked in the 19400 block of 144th Street KPN, thought it might be stolen, and traced the license plate to the woman’s home.
Cooper had been dead for some time, Troyer said.
No arrests have been made.
