Pierce County man killed in hit-and-run in Adams County, WA state troopers say
A Lakewood man was killed in a hit-and-run in Adams County early Monday, the Washington State Patrol reported.
A car was driving south on state Route 395 near Lind when it hit Nicholas A. Cooper, 31, who was walking on the highway, troopers said. The driver left the scene. The incident took place at about 3:41 a.m., troopers said.
Troopers were seeking information on the incident and encouraged witnesses to contact a WSP detective at 509-904-5102 or Lewis.Stevens@wsp.wa.gov.
