Man found shot and killed near Commencement Bay in Tacoma

A man in his 40s was found dead in Tacoma on Tuesday morning near Commencement Bay.
A call about an unresponsive man came in at about 6:09 a.m. Tacoma police officers went on the scene and located the man at 1900 Milwaukee Way with a gunshot wound. Tacoma fire crews arrived and pronounced the man deceased, said Tacoma Police Department spokesperson officer Shelbie Boyd.
Information on a suspect has not been released, Boyd said.
