WA State Patrol seeks witnesses to Gig Harbor hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses of a Gig Harbor hit-and-run that injured a man last month.

The man was walking on the shoulder of state Route 302 near 92nd Avenue when he was struck by a black Honda Civic at around 4 p.m. on Oct. 5. The car had a pink “Girls Only” sticker on the rear windshield. After the collision, the car continued driving east on state Route 302, according to a WSP news release.

Investigators have not been able to obtain further details that would lead to the identity of the driver.

Anyone with more information about the Honda or its driver is asked to contact eetective Tessa Schahfer at tessa.schahfer@wsp.wa.gov or at 253-538-3172, the release said.
