Teenagers flee after firing more than 15 shots at a Tacoma home, police say

Teenagers fired multiple shots at a Tacoma home occupied by two adults and child before driving off Thursday night, police say.

Tacoma Police Department officers received a call at 10:38 p.m. for reports of a drive-by shooting in the 4000 block of North Pearl Street. Witnesses heard 15 to 20 gunshots nearby. Witnesses said three teenagers were on a street when they fired their weapons. They fled in an unknown vehicle, according to Tacoma Police Department spokesman detective William Muse.

The people inside the home were not injured. They also did not know the teenagers. Police said there were multiple bullet holes in the second floor of the home, Muse said.

Crime-scene technicians and detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made, Muse said.
