Kent police searching for two men in stabbing attack

Kent police are searching for two men who stabbed a 64-year-old man after asking to use the telephone in his home.

The attackers knocked on the victim’s front door about 5:30 a.m. and said their car broke down and asked to use the phone.

After allowing the men into his home, they stabbed the victim several times. It’s unknown if they took items from the house.

Police said the victim may have known at least one of his attackers, who have not been arrested.

The victim was able to drive himself to Auburn General Hospital. He has life-threatening injuries.
