Man arrested in fatal Tacoma stabbing. The victim, 64, was found along Bay Street East

Tacoma police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a man last month.

The alleged killer was booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder Monday, police announced in a news release.

No further details were immediately available.

He is suspected in the Dec. 27 death of a 64-year-old man. The victim was found unresponsive Dec. 27 just after 11 p.m. in the 2800 block of Bay Street East. Evidence suggested he was stabbed to death, and a homicide investigation was launched.

Police performed life-saving measures until Tacoma firefighters arrived and transported the man to a local hospital where he died.
