The following convicted sex offenders recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Isaac Casch

Age: 34

Description: 5-foot-9 and 272 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Registered address: 1400 block of East 31st Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 2012 of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes in Cowlitz County. Convicted in 2004 for two counts of first-degree child molestation. When Casch was 14, he sexually assaulted a 6-year-old and 7-year-old female on two separate occasions. In 2006, while in juvenile detention for the 2004 cases, Casch disclosed that he he sexually assaulted an 8-year old female when he was 12 years old. He was convicted of first-degree attempted child molestation in Clark County for that offense.

Sex offender treatment: Casch participated in a sex offender treatment program.

Richard Stauch

Age: 43

Description: 6-foot-3 and 330 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.

Registered address: 400 block of South Tacoma Way, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 2015 for communication with a minor for immoral purposes in Pierce County. Stauch sent an explicit photo to an underage female.

Sex offender treatment: It is unknown if Stauch participated in a sex offender treatment program.

Thomas Gourley

Age: 42

Description: 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Registered address: 1700 block of South 60th Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 1999 for first-degree rape in Lewis County. At age 17, Gourley broke into a stranger’s home and sexually assaulted the woman living there. He was convicted in 1995 for first-degree child molestation in Cowlitz County for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old female on more than one occassion at age 14. He was convicted in 1997 for indecent exposure against a volunteer at the juvenile rehabiliation facility Gourley was in.

Curtis Sell

Age: 57

Description: 5 foot-8 and 240 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Registered address: 1700 block of East 64th Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 2017 for residential burglary with sexual motivation in Pierce County. At age 51, Sell illegally entered the apartments of three unknown women ages 33, 43 and 20. In each instance, Sell was naked, and in one instance he was wearing a condom. In 1997, Sell was convicted of second-degree rape of a child in Pierce County. At age 30, Sell sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl while temporarily residing at her home.

Stevan Knapp

Age: 63

Description: 5 foot-3 and 167 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Registered address: 700 block of South 17th Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 1983 for first-degree attempted rape of a child in King County. At age 22, Knapp sexually assaulted a 5-year-old and 6-year-old girl. In 1990, Knapp at age 30 was convicted of first-degree child molestation in King County for fondling a 7-year-old girl. Knapp was civilly committed to the Special Commitment Center in 2000 after a Recent Overt Act offense in which he touched the bottom of an unknown girl while he was loitering in the children’s section of a department store. Knapp is considered a sexually violent predator.

Gregory Harrison

Age: 41

Description: 6 feet and 190 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Registered address: 2300 block of Fawcett Avenue, Tacoma

Criminal history: In 2017, Harrison was convicted of 2nd-degree child molestation, commercial sex abuse of a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes in Pierce County. At age 34, Harrison took “substantial” steps to sexually assault two unknown minors, an 11-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy. The victims were fictitious and part of a sting operation where Harrison believed he was making arrangements with the mother to sexually assault the children.
