A woman who was killed Saturday in a homicide/suicide in Lakewood has been officially identified, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Stephanie Guerra Bravo, 24 of Lakewood, died from multiple gunshot wounds near the 8000 block of 83rd Avenue Southwest. Her manner of death is listed as a homicide, the medical examiner said in a news release.

Police were dispatched at about 2:08 p.m and found Bravo deceased in an apartment unit alongside a man. A juvenile related to the man and Bravo contacted a resident of a different unit, saying there was a situation. When the resident went to the juvenile’s unit, the deceased bodies were discovered, according to a Lakewood Police Department news release.

Both Bravo and the man died from gunshot wounds. Preliminary evidence showed their deaths were from a domestically related homicide/suicide, the release said.

Police said this was an isolated situation, and there is no imminent threat to the public, the release said.

The investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased man has not been released.
