Gig Harbor man in stable condition after Tacoma shooting
A 23-year-old Gig Harbor man was in stable condition Saturday morning after he was shot in the chest near Jefferson Park in Tacoma, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
The man called police about 6:15 a.m. and reported the shooting, Cool said. He was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries.
Police were still investigating the scene at 9 a.m. Saturday and had yet to identify a suspect.
