After not being seen for three weeks, two men were found dead on Tuesday from an apparent homicide-suicide in Puyallup.

Pierce County deputies responded to a welfare check at the Alderra Apartments at 2:50 p.m. The caller said the 70-year-old male and his 50-year-old male partner had not been seen in three weeks, according to a Pierce County Sheriff’s Department post.

Deputies went to the apartment building and were given a key to check on the couple. Both men were found deceased in a hospice bed with gunshot wounds. Detectives and forensic investigators went to the scene to investigate, the post said.

Detectives do not believe there are any outstanding suspects at this time, the post said.
