One person dead following car crash in Tacoma over the weekend
A woman was killed following a car crash in Tacoma early Saturday morning.
Tacoma police were dispatched at about 1:20 a.m. after two vehicles crashed into each other at 6th Avenue and Alder. The woman was killed, and the driver in the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital, Tacoma Police Department spokesperson Officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.
The surviving driver was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide. Boyd said she did not have information on his medical status.
