The following convicted sex offenders recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Richard Leseman
Richard Leseman Tacoma Police Department

Richard Leseman

Age: 66

Description: 5-foot-8 and 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Registered address: 1900 block of Milwaukee Way Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 1996 for first-degree child molestation in Cowlitz County for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl multiple times. In 1990, Leseman was convicted of first-degree attempted statutory rape and first-degree child molestation for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old and 8-year-old child multiple times in Lewis County.

Sex offender treatment: Leseman has not participated in a sex offender treatment program.

Poy Puth
Poy Puth Tacoma Police Department

Age: 50

Description: 5-foot-8 and 179 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Registered address: 2500 block of South M Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 for second-degree rape of a child in Pierce County. Puth reportedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old multiple times for two years when he was 27-years-old. Puth disclosed additional juvenile victims over several years.

Sex offender treatment: Puth has participated in a sex offender treatment program.

George Hancock
George Hancock Tacoma Police Department

George Hancock

Age: 59

Description: 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Registered address: 1400 block of East 31st Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: Convicted in 2000 for first-degree rape of a child in Kitsap County for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old child when he was 33-years-old. In 1988, Hancock was convicted of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under the age of 14 in San Joaquin, California. Hancock sexually assaulted three girls, a 7-year-old and five-year-old twins. An 11-year-old and 9-year-old also disclosed being molested by Hancock. Hancock also has sex offense convictions as a juvenile and has admitted to numerous victims both male and female. Hancock was admitted to the Special Commitment Center in 2014 and is considered a sexually violent predator.

Sex offender treatment: Hancock has participated in a sex offender treatment program.

Zachary Gililung
Zachary Gililung Tacoma Police Department

Zachary Gililung

Age: 36

Description: 5-foot-10 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Registered address: 7300 block of South Wilkeson Street, Tacoma

Criminal history: In 2022, Gililung was convicted of attempted commercial sexual abuse of a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes in Pierce County. Gililung communicated in a sexual manner and attempted to sexually assault whom he believed to be a 16-year-old girl as part of a police sting operation.

Sex offender treatment: Gililung has not participated in a sex offender treatment program.
