Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender —those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Jeremy J. Linthicum

Age: 38.

Description: 5 feet 7 and 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 1000 block of East 60th Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1993 of two counts of first-degree child rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl and forcing her to watch him molest her sister.

Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Michael W. Gillaspy

Age: 57.

Description: 5 feet 8 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 of luring with sexual motivation and indecent exposure with sexual motivation in Pierce County for asking three young girls for directions to a strip club and masturbating in front of them.

Convicted in 2007 of indecent exposure in Pierce County for exposing himself to a 3-year-old girl and a woman on separate occasions.

Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.
