A man was found deceased in Tacoma’s Hilltop area on Sunday.

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in Tacoma on Sunday.

Tacoma officers were dispatched at about 11 a.m. to the 2100 block of South C Street regarding a possibly deceased man. The man was unresponsive when officers arrived and they immediately began live-saving measures, according to a Tacoma Police Department news release.

Tacoma Fire personnel pronounced the man dead. Tacoma detectives and crime scene technicians are actively investigating the homicide. No arrests have been made.
