Detectives look for pair who set convertible ablaze in Parkland
Detectives are looking for two people who set a convertible on fire Friday in Parkland.
A man shown in surveillance photos and another person were seen running from the parked car after it was engulfed in flames about 4:30 a.m. outside a tattoo shop in the 11200 block of Pacific Avenue South, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.
Investigators think the pair lit something on fire and threw it on the soft roof of the car, destroying the vehicle.
The man shown in the photos appears to be white, in his 40s or 50s, with a medium build and facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark zippered hoodie with blue sleeves, and a light colored baseball hat, which he had on backwards.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
