15-year-old Tacoma boy killed in shooting over the weekend has been identified by ME

A 15-year-old teenager who was fatally shot over the weekend in Tacoma has been officially identified, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Moses Tillman of Tacoma died from a gunshot wound to the torso near East N Street and East 67th Street on Saturday. His manner of death was listed as a homicide, the medical examiner said in a news release.

Tacoma police officers were dispatched shortly before 4 a.m. that day for reports of a shooting. Tillman was suffering from gunshot wounds, and life-saving measures were initiated, according to the Tacoma Police Department in a news release.

No arrests have been made as of Friday and there is no known motive. Detectives are actively investigating and are looking for tips that will provide further information on the shooting.
