SWAT drill planned Thursday for downtown Tacoma

A Pierce County Sheriff’s Department drill will be visible Thursday evening (July 30) in downtown Tacoma.

The Special Weapons and Tactics team will do a training exercise from 5:30-9 p.m. at the County-City Building, 930 Tacoma Ave. S., spokesman Ed Troyer said.

Crews will mainly use the first floor, in and around room 100.
