Road-rage incident near Fife leads to shooting. State troopers are seeking witnesses

The Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses and more information after a road-rage incident near Fife led to a shooting early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at about 7 a.m. on northbound I-5 near 54th Avenue East, according to a WSP news release.

The alleged shooter displayed a handgun following and fired at least two rounds at the victim’s vehicle. The victim, who was driving a black Nissan Altima, was unharmed, the release said. The alleged shooter was driving a dark blue or black passenger vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus.
