Police are looking for a teenage boy who grabbed a foreign exchange student Sunday as she was walking an elderly blind poodle in Fircrest.

Investigators gave this account:

The 21-year-old woman told police she noticed the boy following her about 8 p.m., and when she turned to look at him, he acted as if he was looking into houses.

She had her back turned to him in the 1500 block of Cottonwood Avenue when he ran behind her and tried to wrap his arms around her.

She pulled away, fell down, got back on her feet and asked what he wanted. He then looked her up and down and groped himself.

She told the boy she was going to scream and call police, and he ran away.

He’s described as about 14, black, 5 feet 3, with a medium build. He was wearing long blue jean shorts and black tennis shoes with white soles.

Anyone with information was asked to call police.
