Man wanted in Wisconsin homicide arrested in Lakewood

A man who had been living in Pierce County for about two years was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Wisconsin homicide, Lakewood police said.

Officers got a tip that the man was staying at a Woodbrook apartment in the 7500 block of 146th Street Southwest, and after confirming the information, surrounded the apartment about 11 a.m.

The man surrendered about 15 minutes later, police spokesman Chris Lawler said.

Police said the homicide happened in Beloit, Wisconsin, and that the man had been living under a different name in Lakewood.
