Man drives over neighbor 3 times. He’s been arrested for homicide, Pierce deputies say

One man was killed after an alleged dispute with his neighbor in Roy Wednesday night.

Deputies were dispatched at about 10 p.m. to the 300 block of 384th Street South for the homicide. They spoke to a 27-year-old man who reported the incident, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook post.

The post said deputies learned the neighbors were arguing over surveillance cameras. The man said while he was inside his truck, the victim was outside and took out a pocketknife. The man said he allegedly ran over his neighbor three times and called 911 from his home.

The 41-year-old man was found dead in a driveway, the post said. Deputies arrested the 27-year-old man, and he was booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Deputies say this is an ongoing investigation.
