Video shows man brandishing gun outside WA trooper’s home. Do you know him?

Tacoma police has released video of a man accused of waving a gun around outside a Washington State Patrol trooper’s home on April 7.

The man allegedly pointed the gun at the trooper’s home camera, where a marked WSP car was parked in the driveway. He also made threatening statements, according to the Tacoma Police Department on X.

Video shows a man allegedly waving the gun before pointing a middle finger to the camera. He then walks off, making comments off-camera. There is another portion of video where the man allegedly waved the gun at the camera before walking off.

Detectives hope the video will help the public identify the man so an arrest can be made for felony harassment. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers or 1-800-222-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $1,000 for providing “information that leads to arrest and charges filed,” according to Crime Stoppers.
