2 women were fatally shot near Tacoma Tideflats. An arrest has yet to be made
Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the people or person who fatally shot two women in the Tacoma Tideflats area in February.
Officers were dispatched on Feb. 20 at about 2:26 p.m. after a business owner reported a vehicle loitering in the area, according to a Crime Stoppers bulletin.
Amber Bazan, 43, and Wanda Davis, 56, were found dead in the vehicle. They had been shot in the head, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
Tacoma detectives began a homicide investigation, but no arrests have been made. They ask that any information about the case be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers or 1-800-222-TIPS.
There is an up to $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and charges being filed, the bulletin said.
