A hit-and-run crash involving a stolen motorcycle and vehicle in Tacoma left two people with minor injuries Thursday night.

Tacoma officers were dispatched at 11:41 p.m. to the 1400 block of East 40th Street near a smoke shop for the crash. Two people were on the motorcycle when the crash happened, Tacoma Police Department officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.

The driver of the car ran away from the crash scene, Boyd said. The motorcycle was reportedly stolen.

The motorcyclist and passenger were taken to a hospital for their injuries.
