Detectives are asking for help identifying suspects who allegedly burglarized the same business eight times since Aug. 25.

Betschart Mechanical, a mechanical contractor at 5508 128th St. E., Suite 101 in the South Hill area, was first burglarized Aug. 25, according to a bulletin from Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County. The suspects returned seven more times, each time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

“The suspects accessed locked trailers filled with construction supplies, equipment and tools,” the bulletin said. “ ... Estimated between $50,000-$100,000 worth of theft and damages.”

Authorities believe one suspect is a woman of medium build with dark hair, and she was seen wearing black leggings, a purple T-shirt and a white hat. A white and brown dog, possibly a pit bull, was spotted accompanying her, according to the bulletin.

Suspects might have driven to the scene in a “black 2010’s Dodge Ram pickup, a white cargo van, a dark colored sedan and a white SUV with a trailer,” the bulletin said.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office alleges the woman had additional “accomplices” with her, in a post to the agency’s blotter.

Anonymous tips can be submitted via the P3 Tips app, calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting tpcrimestoppers.com. The bulletin advertises a reward of up to $1,000 for “information that leads to arrest and charges filed.”
