60-year-old man arrested for fatal stabbing in Tacoma, police say
A fatal stabbing in Tacoma on Thursday afternoon led to the arrest of a man, police say.
Officers were dispatched at about 3:30 p.m. to the 600 block of South Jackson Avenue for a reported welfare check. A man was found stabbed to death when police arrived, according to the Tacoma Police Department in a news release.
Detectives and crime scene technicians began an investigation, the release said.
Detectives found probable cause to arrest a 60-year-old man, the release said. He was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.
