A shooting outside a Tacoma waterfront restaurant Friday night ended with three vehicles getting into a crash.

Officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. to the Lobster Shop for the shooting in the 4000 block of Ruston Way. Multiple callers reported hearing gunshots and seeing a person firing several rounds, Tacoma Police Department Sgt. John Correa told The News Tribune Saturday morning.

A group was out in the parking lot of the restaurant during the incident, Correa said. They went to their cars because of the shooting and three vehicles later crashed, Correa said.

Everyone involved in the crash stayed on scene. One person complained of injuries.

No one was injured from the shooting, Correa said. The shooter ran off, and no arrests have been made.

Correa said only one person was firing gunshots. About 25 shell casings were found on scene.
