2 found dead inside Pierce County home after several gunshots reported
A man and women were found dead inside a home in Spanaway on Thursday night.
Deputies were dispatched at 10:41 p.m. to the 20700 block of 7th Avenue Court East after calls came in that a man had been shot. Several neighbors also reported to deputies when they arrived of hearing gunshots coming from the house, and no one was answering the door, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office in a blotter post.
A 57-year-old man and 54-year-old woman were found dead after deputies breached the door to the house, the post said.
A 14-year-old was found alive and hiding in a closet in a bedroom, the post said. She was not involved in the deaths and released to the custody of family members.
The post said that there are no other suspects, and the incident was contained to the house.
