Three people were arrested Thursday after a shooting outside a gas station in Tacoma.

Officers were dispatched at about 4 p.m. to the 5600 block of McKinley Avenue . A 16-year-old had a graze wound and didn’t need to be taken to a hospital, Tacoma Police Department spokesperson officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault, Boyd said. Two of them were taken to Remann Hall while one was taken to the Pierce County Jail.

No charges have been filed against them as the investigation continues, according to a spokesperson for the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
