East Pierce County man dies after medical emergency-related crash

A Graham man who crashed into some trees after experiencing a medical emergency on Feb. 14 has died, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Authorities took the man, who they identified as 60-year-old Mark A. Clemons, to Tacoma General Hospital after the wreck. On Feb. 15, they reported that he died at the hospital.

Clemons was driving north on State Route 7 in the Elk Plain part of Pierce County when he drove off the road and hit multiple trees, eventually stopping in an embankment.
