Armed suspect steals car in parking lot of Tacoma cannabis store, police say

Police in Tacoma are investigating an armed carjacking that took place in the parking lot of a cannabis store Wednesday morning.

Officers were dispatched at 8:55 a.m. to the 2900 block of South M Street . A person reportedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint, Tacoma Police Department spokesperson officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.

She said the person never went inside the cannabis store.

No one was injured. There is no suspect description that police are releasing, Boyd said.
