The house was also on fire.
People in the home were evacuated, and officers provided medical aid until Tacoma Fire Department personnel arrived, according to the Tacoma Police Department. Victims were taken to a local hospital.
Two people who were stabbed reportedly were in serious condition, but one of them was released from the hospital. Another person had life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers arrested 29-year-old Andrew Cole Keen. Prosecutors charged him with four counts of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree arson. Court documents allege Keen’s mental health was deteriorating in the days before the incident.
