Man shot and killed in Hilltop on Tuesday, police say
Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was killed in the Hilltop area late Tuesday morning, the Tacoma Police Department shared in a news release.
Officers responded to a shooting on the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr Way just after 11 a.m., the release said.
They found an adult male with a gunshot wound and began life-saving measures.
The Tacoma Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to call 911, the release said.
