Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Kristofer M. Lacross

Age: 26.

Description: 5 feet 11 and 220 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Where registered to live: 3500 block of East McKinley Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2001 of first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation in Clark County for repeatedly sexually assaulting a boy and a girl, both 6 years old. Convicted in 2005 and 2010 in Pierce County for failing to register as a sex offender.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Arthur G. Parry

Age: 58.

Description: 5 feet 11 and 195 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 1000 block of South Sprague Avenue, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1997 of first-degree child rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy. Has five convictions for failing to register as a sex offender in Pierce County.

Sex offender treatment: Does not appear to have participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Leland A. James

Age: 21.

Description: 6 feet 6 and 209 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Where registered to live: 3600 block of South Mason Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2007 of indecent liberties in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl. Convicted in 2008 of first-degree child molestation in King County for sexually assaulting a young boy for two years. Convicted in 2013 of attempted communication with a minor for immoral purposes and communication with a minor for immoral purposes in King County for contacting teen boys through social media and proposing sex.

Sex offender treatment: Terminated from a treatment program while incarcerated.
