2 killed in crash in wooded area in Kent
Two men were killed Wednesday after the car they were traveling in crashed in a wooded area in Kent.
Police said alcohol and speed might have caused the wreck.
A passerby found the men’s car about 7:15 a.m. among trees on the west side of 124th Avenue Southeast, just south of the intersection at Southeast Kent Kangley Road and 124th Avenue Southeast.
When officers arrived the 25-year-old driver from Federal Way was dead. The passenger, a 25-year-old Auburn man, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.
Neither man has been identified.
Roads in the area were closed while police investigated the crash.
