Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Charles A. Goff

Age: 25.

Description: 5 feet 6 and 130 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 2300 block of Fawcett Avenue, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2009 of first-degree child molestation in Mason County for duct-taping and sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in her home. Convicted in 2007 of first-degree child molestation in Thurston County for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy he was babysitting.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Myhkel T. Hodge-Gore

Age: 27.

Description: 5 feet 9 and 270 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 6700 block of Fifth Street Court NE, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2011 of third-degree child molestation in Clark County for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Convicted in 2003 of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation in Thurston County for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and convicted in 2001 of first-degree child molestation in Thurston County for molesting a younger girl.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Douglas J. Edwards

Age: 59.

Description: 5 feet 4 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Where registered to live: 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1975 of first-degree rape while armed with a deadly weapon in Clark County for breaking into a woman’s home and sexually assaulting her at gunpoint. Convicted eight times since 2001 of failure to register as a sex offender.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.
