Police search for assault suspect in Puyallup
Police investigated an assault Wednesday night in Puyallup.
The attack happened near the 1200 block of 7th Avenue Southeast, police said about 7 p.m.
The suspect was a white man in a gray shirt and blue jeans.
Officers asked people in the area to stay inside, and locked down nighttime activities going on at Cascade Christian School and Northwest Christian School nearby.
Police ended the lockdowns shortly after 8 p.m., and said they believed the suspect left the area.
Further information wasn’t immediately available.
KOMO reported the attack was a stabbing, and that the injuries were not life-threatening.
