Tacoma police investigated a shooting Sunday morning that left one person dead and another injured inside a car parked near a restaurant.
Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said it appeared to be an attempted homicide followed by a suicide.
Witnesses reported gunshots near the restaurant at South 72nd Street near Interstate 5 about 3:30 a.m.
Police arrived to find two people suffering from gunshot wounds inside the car, Cool said.
